There is just a couple of weeks left for you to make your nominations for your favourite book or one you would like to see other students reading. Every nomination at this school will be included in a draw for one of the 10 selected books.
All of the nominations will be forwarded at the first of the year to a committe who will tally the results from all the schools across the board. Based on the number of nominations 10 books will be selected. These ten books will magically appear at our school at the beginning of second term and you will have a chance to read them and vote on your favourite.
The front runner at this school is Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins with four nominations. Every other one of the 26 books nominated only has one nomination each and they include Going Bovine, Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, Shiver, A Prairie Wide as the Sea, Stormbreaker,Crank, Lullibies for Little Criminals, and Eragon.
If you have a book you feel pretty strongly about you still have lots of time to nominate it. Your nomination may be the one needed to nudge it into the top ten.
